Wondering which print option is best foryou? Check out the differences here.

DTF vs. DTG

DTF - Direct To Film

  • DTF printing involves printing a design onto a special film, and then transferring the design onto fabric using heat and pressure.
  • Can be done on any color and fabric.
  • Allows for highly detailed, full-color designs to be printed on a wide variety of fabrics and materials.
  • Can be done on most items.

DTG - Direct to Garment

  • DTG printing directly applies ink onto fabric using a specialized printer, much like how an inkjet printer works on paper.
  • Primarily works best on light-colored fabrics. Can only be done on heavy cotton fabrics. Can only be done on T-shirts and Sweatshirts
